Nursery group
Montessori method of learning is encouraged which includes learning of early practical life skills, sensorial activities, arithmetic, language and speech development and fine and gross motor skills development.
Subjects included:
- English (Written and Orals)- Phonics of the English alphabet and language development. Pre-writing strokes- standing line, sleeping line, slanting line, curves etc. Capital letters A-Z with use of pictures, objects, flash cards etc.
- Numbers(Written and Orals)- Numbers 1-20 with the use of flash cards, number pegs etc. Write numbers 1-20. Count and write. Shapes. Matching numbers to pictures, objects etc.
- Art/Craft/Drawing and Coloring- Improves creativity and hand-eye coordination.
- Rhymes/ Stories- Using props/ charts etc. Improves communication skills, vocabulary and boosts confidence.
- Concept based learning and general knowledge( flowers, birds, fruits, vegetables, wild/farm animals etc.)
- Socio-dramatic play- Includes themes on Rain-cycle, germination, farm day, super market etc.
