Here the child is introduced to the subject format of the curriculum.
Key topics include pre-writing strokes, capital and small letters, numbers 1-50, basic shapes, primary colours, body parts and safety, community helpers, transport, seasons, types of food, animals etc.
The syllabus aims to introduce foundational concepts and develop important skills at a young age.
Application based method of teaching.
As per the latest curriculum there are 4 subjects:
English, Maths
General Knowledge
Environmental Studie
Montessori learning is also included- arithmetic, sensory activities etc.
Recitation and story telling helps improve their reading, thinking and speaking abilities and allows them to be more creative and boosts confidence.
